The British Vets Association joins forces with End Rabies Now

Today, in the lead up to World Rabies Day on September 28th, we are pleased to announce that we have a new partner for the End Rabies Now campaign, the British Vets Association. 

Although rabies is no longer endemic in Great Britain it is important to show policy-makers and governments in other countries that there is global support to end this devastating disease. Part of the challenge of eliminating human deaths from canine rabies is that it's one of the Neglected Tropical Diseases and largely affects populations living in poverty. We need to raise awareness within national governments to take up the fight against rabies as a priority.
